Most men had joined the war effort, so I will be focusing on the types of uniform the men wore.

The long sleeves and trousers were used as projection but the fabric was light and loose so the soilders would not suffer form heat stroke

This was a combat feild unifrom, the fabric is water and wind resinatnt and the fabric is darker so they would be harder to see in murky water. This offered better protection from the elements

More heavy material was used here, the coat was made out of wool to protect agaisnt the snow and the pants color were darkened to a shade of brown.
