Unlike rich upper class, poor men wore clothes that where usually to big. If they had shoes, then they would wear rags wrapped round their feet as a substitute for socks. Bowler hats and cloth hat were common among the working class. Often, they would wear their clothes until until holes appeared in the fabric .

Most men wore clothes like the rich but they where very tattered, think hand me downs but much worse. If they where lucky then they would have a cap and shoes, but these were rare moments.
