Once again the 1900's rich women took after the french and the corset was still in style. The most desired form a women could have was called the Gibson Girl.

The Gibson Girl figure included a tiny waist, large bosom, rounded backside, and a long neck. This was helped achieved by the new swan bill corset. But the Gibson Girl originated from the pen illustrator Charles Dana Gibson.

The Belle Epoque was another age of fashion that was brought on by the french. Only the rich could afford this high style of fashion. Lower class women had to make do with what they had.

Not only was this a fashion trend era, but La Belle Epoque was the start of wealth distributing, indoor plumbing started to come down to the middle class and new styles of theatre was being presented. Not mention the life expectancy of children rose
